Fresh air, big trees and black truffles; three great excuses to slip down to one of the greener bits of our state for the Truffle Kerfuffle food festival in Manjimup. Staged at Fonty’s Pool, just out side the town centre, the event promises a beautiful outlook, truffle focused chef, grower and dog demonstrations, live music and stakes of local food and wine. Afterwards, you can chase down a relaxing day with a delectable a five-course Truffle Gala Dinner. Festival entry is just a gold coin donation.
