Spice magazine features a directory of producers and suppliers to provide an easy reference for chefs and consumers in WA. We’ve found that there are a lot of great producers and providores out there not getting the attention they deserve. We can only cover so many things in each issue so we’ve been looking for another way of expanding the profile of West Australian goods. We’ve had many enquiries from chefs, cooks and food lovers about where they can source particular products and although there are lots of restaurant guides, there aren’t any for products.
The WareToBuy guide is a resource and a reference guide focussed on producers - such as farmers and winemakers; and suppliers such – as providores and butchers. This guide will help increase exposure in Western Australia and across Australia. We post a searchable, interactive pdf of the directory on our website each edition, adding a valuable feature to the listing.
We’ve made the rates very low to widen the opportunity for people to be involved, even those with very tight budgets. We feel the directory is more effective and user-friendly than a series of tiny ads with a more consistent look. The final categories and subcategories are determined in terms of overall utility.
